Experience Sheba's view of Mayan villages today. Most villages continue to make traditional Mayan outfits and speak their own language -- there are 21 Mayan languages in Guatemala! Most Mayan women are weavers and the men are farmers. Weaving has been passed down from generation to generation, with women taking about 5 months to make a huipil (shirt). Included in this indoor Maya experience is enjoying typical foods such as handmade tortillas from corn flour, as well as tamales, beans, and fresh fruits and vegetables.
